jaag gaya sab jahaan,
Neend samaapth, din jaag
uttha yahaan,
Chorus :
Man ek विप्लव (means pandemonium) mein kho gaya,
युद्ध कष्ट ke भय mein rone laga,
Par phir एक बार Dil ne साहस se kaha :
"ना आतंक ना भय, शांति की होगी जय yahaan "
Meaning of the Prelude of
the song :
The Sun rose from the East, the universe woke up,
Sleep ended, a new day is born,
Repeat Chorus :
Mind is lost in a pandemonium,
The misery of a war, has made my mind cry,
But yet again, my heart sings with courage :
“Neither terrorism, nor fear, but Peace will win over here”.
Verse 1 :
बच्चे na बुज़ुर्ग ka आतंकवादियों ne khayal kiya,
रक्त मेरी आँखों से bharpoor बहने laga,
में समझ नहीं पाया, itni kyon hai मुश्किल,
प्यार की भाषा bolna, jo बात कर sake हर दिल.
Kyun yeh ladna? bas karo yeh jhagadna!
जीवन के तट ko paar sabhi ko hai karna.
Repeat Chorus:

Meaning of Verse 1:
Neither children nor old people, did the terrorists care for,
Blood bled from my eyes wholesomely (seeing this),
I couldn’t understand why it is so difficult,
To speak the language of love, that each heart can speak.
Why this war ? Stop this fighting!
Everyone has to cross the ocean of life.
Repeat Chorus :
Mind is lost in a pandemonium,

Verse 2:
दिल में दया ho, aur drshtikon (approach) mein माफी ho,
To dil mein jagaa sakte hein , pyaar ki prerna ko.
Khushi baantkar , pyaar ke deep jalaakar,
Banaayenge is duniya ko haseen, muskuraakar,
मजबूत विश्वास के साथ, tyaag नफ़रत ka hum karenge,
Phir ubharenge rishtey, jo jeevan ka jashn manaayenge.
Repeat Chorus:
Phir Man ek विप्लव mein na rahega,
युद्ध कष्ट ke भय mein nahin rone lagega,
Phir एक बार Dil ne साहस se kaha :
"ना आतंक ना भय, शांति की होगी जय yahaan"
Meaning of Verse 2:
If there is compassion in the heart and forgiveness in approach,
Then the inspiration of love, can rise in the heart.
By spreading happiness, and lighting lamps of love,
We shall build a beautiful world, with smiles,
With strong faith, we shall renounce hatred,
And then shall emerge relationships, that will celebrate life.
Repeat Chorus :
Then the mind will not be in a pandemonium,
The misery of war will not make my mind cry,
Yet again, my heart sings with courage :
